Hard Work

If you are planning to become a criminal lawyer, you must be ready to work hard. As a criminal lawyer, most of the cases you work on will have hearings, investigations, negotiations, motions, including gathering a huge amount of documents that will need to be drafted prior to trial. In no way is the job going to be easy, so you will need to be someone who works hard.

Persistence

As a criminal lawyer, you will most probably come up against police officers, prosecutors, and even judges who will attempt to block you from doing your job. You will need to be persistent and be ready to go all out to get your job done. Your persistence could mean that the case you are working on will not result in a wrongful conviction.

Creativity

You will need to be creative so as to keep a fresh perspective. Doing things differently with an open mind will help you seize favourable opportunities and solve difficult problems. You might want to avoid trying to approach all cases with the same strategy. Be creative and treat each case differently.

Clear Plan

As a criminal lawyer, you will need to have the ability to think quickly on your feet. Of course, you will need to have everything planned out to the minutest detail, but you must have the ability to come up with a plan on the spot. When planning your case, you will need to carefully work through all the details and be prepared to go an alternative route if something doesn’t go according to plan.

Improve Mood
If you find that you are constantly stressed, you might want to get involved in some physical activity like playing a game of basketball or exercising at the gym. Simple physical activities such as walking, jogging, and swimming can help you relax and improve your mood. Exercising or playing sports allows the brain to release a chemical called endorphin which helps in relieving stress and making you feel happy and relaxed. So the next time you feel stressed, it might be time for a quick jog.

Improve Concentration
Playing sports and exercising helps keep your mental capabilities strong. It helps improve your thinking and learning skills. Research has found that exercising three to five-times-a-week for just 30-minutes can help improve mental health.

Most people around the world have at some point or the other enjoyed a slab of Cadbury chocolate. If you are visiting Birmingham, you might want to include a visit to Cadbury World. Discover the history of chocolate and see how it is made. The chocolate factory at Bournville has a visitor centre where guests can learn how chocolate is made. There are also several other interesting attractions for kids at Cadbury World such as, Bull Street, 4D Chocolate Adventure, Cadabra, Purple Planet, Making Chocolate Story, Adventure Avenue, Aztec Jungle and much more. If you are planning to visit, you will need to book your tickets in advance to guarantee entry as entry is limited.

Victoria Square

Victoria Square in Birmingham is home to the Council Home and the Town Hall and is located adjacent to Chamberlain Square. Victoria Square is considered the centre of Birmingham and it is from here that local road sign distances are measured. It was formerly known as Council House Square and had a tramway running through it. In 1901, it was renamed Victoria Square in honour of Queen Victoria, and a statue was erected there. However, Queen Victoria died just twelve days after the square was named after her.

Moira Grigor recommends visiting Cadbury World if you are visiting Birmingham with your family.
