Most people around the world have at some point or the other enjoyed a slab of Cadbury chocolate. If you are visiting Birmingham, you might want to include a visit to Cadbury World. Discover the history of chocolate and see how it is made. The chocolate factory at Bournville has a visitor centre where guests can learn how chocolate is made. There are also several other interesting attractions for kids at Cadbury World such as, Bull Street, 4D Chocolate Adventure, Cadabra, Purple Planet, Making Chocolate Story, Adventure Avenue, Aztec Jungle and much more. If you are planning to visit, you will need to book your tickets in advance to guarantee entry as entry is limited.

Victoria Square

Victoria Square in Birmingham is home to the Council Home and the Town Hall and is located adjacent to Chamberlain Square. Victoria Square is considered the centre of Birmingham and it is from here that local road sign distances are measured. It was formerly known as Council House Square and had a tramway running through it. In 1901, it was renamed Victoria Square in honour of Queen Victoria, and a statue was erected there. However, Queen Victoria died just twelve days after the square was named after her.

Moira Grigor recommends visiting Cadbury World if you are visiting Birmingham with your family.
